Cheers to New Beginnings: A Night of Memories and Farewells

On August 9th, 2024, Harvard Summer School students came together at Da Long Yi All You Can Eat Hot Pot in Allston, MA, for a heartfelt and memorable graduation celebration, organized in collaboration with UNNEF.

The evening began at 5:30 PM as friends and classmates gathered, sharing a meal that was filled with warmth, laughter, and reflection on the incredible journey they've had together.

The celebration officially began at 6:45 PM with opening remarks that set the tone for an evening of gratitude and pride. Xinzhan Lu, CEO of UNNEF, delivered a deeply moving speech, expressing his profound admiration for the students' hard work and dedication. He spoke about the significance of their time at Harvard, the lifelong impact of the friendships they’ve forged, and the enduring value of seeking truth and carrying the Harvard spirit forward in their lives.

As the night progressed, students shared their own reflections, offering heartfelt farewells and expressing their appreciation for the support and bonds they've formed. The evening concluded with a group photo and a sincere send-off, marking the end of a transformative summer. As they parted ways, there was a palpable sense of accomplishment and a shared belief that the connections made and lessons learned will continue to inspire and guide them in the years to come.
